Virtual PDC: Industrial Ergonomics and Emerging Technologies
The Chicago Local Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association would like to invite you to a Virtual PDC on Industrial Ergonomics and Emerging Technologies. The presentation will start with a focus on basic Ergonomic principles, risk factor identification, and process followed by a discussion on emerging technologies in the field and the pros/cons of utilizing these technologies in its current state.
Speaker:
Marcus Fichtel, MS, CBES, CPE
Marcus Fichtel serves as a Principal Consultant and also as Chubb Global Risk Advisors' Industrial Ergonomics Practice Leader. He has been working in the Ergonomics discipline for over 9 years. Marcus has a B.S. in physiology, and a M.S. in Environmental Sciences Safety / Industrial Hygiene. He has experience working in a variety of industries including Food Processing, Aerospace, General Manufacturing, Transportation and Distribution. Marcus is currently researching technology in Ergonomics and looking for ways to enhance our ability to be more predictive of risk in the workplace with a blend of traditional ergonomic tools, data analysis and wearable/AI output data.
