AIHA Chicago Local Section -- Planning Meeting

The date of our Annual Planning Meeting will be Monday July 23, 2018. The meeting will be held in the O'Hare Plaza Conference Room located on the main floor of 8745 W. Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631 . After you enter the complex from the traffic light on Higgins Road, proceed to the nearest visitor parking lot. After entering the building, check-in at the main security desk and the conference room will be to the right across from the cafe. You may arrive as early as 8:30 am. The meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 am and will last until approximately 3:00 pm. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.  

As we get closer to the date, I will send out the meeting agenda. In the meantime, please complete the following tasks:

1. Review the current bylaws (https://www.aiha.org/get-involved/LocalSections/ChicagoLocalSection/AboutUs/Documents/Bylaws-Mar24_2015.pdf),
   
2. Visit and review the current Chicago Local Section website (https://www.aiha.org/get-involved/LocalSections/ChicagoLocalSection/Pages/default.aspx)
   
3. Join the Chicago Local Section LinkedIn group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/4409342)
   
4. Brainstorm ideas for meeting topics. These ideas could stem from inspiration gathered at recent conferences (i.e., what topics piqued your interest, or what do you see as challenges to address in the future?).
   
5. Update and bring your calendar in order to check availability for participation in certain events.
