This seminar will focus on how to build process safety management (PSM) and process hazard analysis (PHA) systems, what is required in a program, as well as best practices for both PSM and PHA.
Instructor:
Timothy Cullina, P.E.: Mr. Cullina's expertise includes OSHA, EPA and FDA Manufacturing, Regulatory Compliance, Incident Investigation, Compliance Auditing, PSM/PHA and Environmental Safety & Health (EHS) Due Diligence. Most recently, Mr. Cullina has performed many process and facility hazard assessments focusing on combustible dust. He has applied both prescriptive and performance-based approaches of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards to a variety of industries.
Mr. Cullina has more than a decade of experience with PSM and EPA RMP implementation, auditing and compliance. While serving as a corporate EHS manager, he led, reviewed and approved process hazard analyses (PHAs) for reactive chemistry, flammable liquids and combustible dusts. Mr. Cullina has developed safety programs to satisfy PSM and dust hazard awareness as well as customized training programs. In addition, he has nearly 25 years of experience with incident investigations of explosions and fires in chemical processing.
